Breaking Dawn
I think it was way too romance novel "every woman's dream." Bella got everything she wanted and had to make no sacrifices whatsoever. There were no deaths, she still got to have Charlie, she got Jacob, everything. And that kind of makes it too fantasyish I guess you could say.
But it was okay overall.
What did you think of it?

I liked it, but I didn't like it when Edward asked Jacob to do that one thing. Yuck

Re: Breaking Dawn
It took me a moment, like Jacob, to figure out what he was asking. That part was one of those parts I burst out laughing. I laugh when most people freak out.
I was laughing the whole honeymoon through, almost literally.
When the erm. . .Jacob Bella thing came up. . .
When Jacob was going insane, I laugh at his pain.

Oh, back to Breaking Dawn. It was WAY too happy of an ending. There, and the first of them, TWILIGHT was the best.

I didn't laugh at that. I found it disturbing.....
But yeah the ending was sickeningl happy. Bella didn't have to sacrifice ANYTHING.

Well, the mental picture I got was disturbing but the way Jacob took it, his tortured mind, the temptation for him.
I relish his pain because I'm Team EDWARD

Haha. I still say Bella should've snapped his neck while she had the chance.
But we'll be nice to Jacob for Team Jacob's sake....
lol.

breaking dawn....
The ending was way too happy. AND its the LAST book...
Wait a second...parts of the story don't have answers to them.
What happened to Irina's Sisters afterward?
What happened with Jacob and Renesmse? *i think that is spelled right*
Would the Volturi find the father that was making the half human/vampire hybrids? And if so, would they come back?
What happens after?????? The never-ending happy ever after?? that really bites...har har.

Re: Breaking Dawn
I agree, but i think she did that so if she decided to write more she could.
I really wonder if this will be the end of the books.

That's the thing. That's Stephanie's writing style. Perfect happy ending with only a few unimportant questions unanswered. I do that too only the characters make sacrifices in my book...

Re: Breaking Dawn
I would say that I liked it over all. There were a few places here and there that were, I don't know, kind of pointless I guess.
The final battle:
This part really depressed me. No action??? What kind of last battle scene is that?! I was really looking forward to the blood and guts..... It would've been great to see one the Volturi guys die somehow and like someone from the Cullens or the Werewolves kill over too. That would've made it a better read for me.

Re: Breaking Dawn
Stephenie even said she's going to do spin-offs.
No more Twilight exactly, but she's going to continue Jacob and Renesmee's story, and the other werewolves and all of that.

Re: Breaking Dawn
yeah..,
well i didnt really want to see the series end. it broke my addiction sort of.. i was obsessed... and so for team Edward. Then the little 13 year old fangirls ruined it all for me (no offense to anybody obsessed with Edward Cullen but you kinda ruined it a lil. please take no offense.) but as far as the love story in the end goes. i think that Bella did get everything she ever wanted, but than again, if she wouldnt have chosen Edward, she would have ended up with Jake and never had Renesmee. Than Jacob would have never imprinted and there goes more than half the book and spin-offs in the future. I think a little more of a tragic ending would have been nice, but i was very happy about the way Stephanie portrayed Bella's "talent" and let Edward read her mind in the end.. it was a good series =]]

Re: Breaking Dawn
I'm just going to go ahead and say it, Breaking Dawn sucks. The only good part was the description of Bella turning into a vampire and see what it was like through a vampires eyes.
Re: Breaking Dawn
I thought it relativly was an ok book.... like i said before a more tragic ending would have been ok...

Re: Breaking Dawn
i disliked a lot of parts of this book.
1. Bella got pregnant.
() Meyers said that vampires cannot give birth or impregnate whatsoever in Eclipse. Then all of a sudden, Bella gets pregnant. What the heck? It was only afterword when She explains it THEN does anybody get a CLOSE idea as to why and how it happened. It sort of went along the lines of that Bella could get pregnant because she was not stuck in the start that Alice and Rose were in(human), however that could not be accounted for Edward(for some reason) and he could still impregnate a Human girl like all male vampires could(i find this very sexist too.)
2. The story seems to jump form topic/problem to topic/solution/problem way too quickly.
() Breaking Dawn had to throw out ALL the rest of the problems in the last book, even the minor ones making everything seem like a big mess(which for a few cases it was, but that was because everybody was jumping the gun and doing random stupid stuff) and then when one problem was done, another 2 or 3 seemed to pop up.
It seemed to me like Meyers was just throwing in filler, killing it for me.
3. Renesmee Carlie Cullen is born.
() this is the part of the story where i get pretty ticked. First, we were explain that vampires could NOT get pregnant. Then Meyers pulls a fast one and then when a the Lion and Lamb having the Loch Ness monster as a kid. The main problem i have with this is-SHE CANNOT EXIST- it was explained before that vampires could not impregnate or become pregnant under any circumstances. Then we have a Vampire/Human born and throwing everything EVERYBODY knew(even in the story) out the window. So apparently, Logic and Truth don't run in the same company in this story.(like our govorment) And what the heck kind of name is Renesmee?????
4. Jacob Imprints on *guess who*...
Ok, Jacob, a Shape shifting Wolf, mortal enemy of Vampires, who hates them beyond a shadow of a doubt, can't stand their smell, and will kill them for no good reason(like we was going to do in his beginning chapters in Breaking Dawn), and imprints on his (Immortal)Enemies human-vampire hybrid daughter. I have nothing more to say on this part that is worth saying, because at this point, logic for people should take over.
--Skipping a few minor ones and getting to the last big one--
5. Ending??
What the heck kind of ending was that? That last chapter was totally rushed(well the last pages of its 'sweet' ending) and it was not really GRAND at all it was kind of like "she showed him this, he was amazed, i told him i would try again, we said we had plenty of time, and we would go on like this forever, The end." Your kidding right? And the the other big part to this one. The after questions...WHAT HAPPENS AFTER??? You cannot expect people to not have more then a million questions after the way she ended the series. What happens to Irinias Sisters? What happens with all the new wolves? Jacob and Nessy(who should not exist)? The Volturi and do the find that other Human/vampires father? Do they come back? Too many REALLY important unanswered questions for this wonderful story to have. AND WHY DO A SPIN-OFF???? You can finish it up with a REALLY GOOD BOOK(considering this last one sucked more then any other book in any wonderful top 10 book series that i have ever read) AND STILL HAVE IT WITH BELLA BEING THE PROTAGONIST!!!
In other words, this book does not fit, is incomplete in the series, was depressing, not well written, impulsive in it writing, mess with the story line way too much and broke its one rules that were inforced for one reason. To surprise everyone with an unneeded secret character. Renesmee.
What a terrible ending for a 10/10 and 5 star series...
I discount the last book completely because it was that bad. I am waiting for Midnight Sun then pretending for the real final book to come out.

I liked the book, but there were some things in it I think the Author could have left out, and it still be a good book, but I liked thar they had the baby, and that Jacob found his soul mate so to speak. gives me hope for me since i seem to be so much like him.
