Haunting Me

a poem that i wrote over the weekend... i don't know but poetry really does help releave some feelings...


Haunting Me


Everytime I close my eyes I see your face.
There's nothing I can do without you haunting me.
I can't believe I gave you my heart, what a disgrace.
I don't understand why you wont just let me be.

I always keep reminding myself that I'm not broken.
But every little thing reminds me of you.
I'n my heart there are so many things that go unspoken.
Somedays I wish we were not through.

I know that I love you and always will.
But we could never work out together.
It doesn't matter how I feel.
Because I know that I will remember you forever.

That's realy good... But ouch.... That's extremely painful. I know how it feels....

Wow thats deep =[ and very painfull i agree, i know how you feel.

thanks guys, it is rather painful. i try to forget, then the next moment i'm thinking about him again.. there's not much you can do but try to keep a smile on your face, and continue to face the world.

I know.. I still live that every day of my life.

yeah mine has gotten a little easier... or so people think.. im gonna have to look at him everyday for now on.. its already driving me crazy... this loneliness hurts me... and im only 14. i have to experience this for three and a half more years of my life... unless he moves or i do. an i severly doubt that one.. and not only that he bashes me... badly.. so im like trying to deal and it seems like no matter what he does or say about me... i still want to be with him.. =[[... i think im just crazy.. but anyways, you write good stuff =] i like it alot =] and i can definitly relate =//

non sence, you are not crazy.. i mean you are in a good sence, but not like that... guys can be such jerks, it's not fair...

i wish i could say that girls were icing on the cakes. but we can be just as mean... and guys are jerks... i know that one for sure and its not fair.... at all .

your right girls can be mean too... well we cause most of the drama..lol


a poem that i wrote today in class. it's about someone, and i know that i can never forget the way that he sang to me.. i still remember it of all things...


The Lullaby

What a beautiful sound.
The sound of you singing that song.
Now you are no where to be found.
I miss you and it feels so wrong.

My mind flashes back to the last night I spent with you.
You held me close and sang in my ear.
Who knew that a couple days later we'd be through.
And now I'm left with a new fear.

Will I ever get to hear his voice again?
His melodic song lingers in my ear.
He may not care for me now, but he did then.
That song that he sang for me is a memory so dear.

If I remember anything at all about us.
Even if I forget his tender face.
My heart may brake, but I will not fuss.
I will always remember the lullaby, that he sang to me with such grace.

wow.... now i remember how the one i just lost sang to me... wow..... thats deep but i love the poem its very good, =]

When i look in the mirror

When I look in the mirror I see an ugly girl.
Look at her face there are blemishes everywhere.
She fights with herself she's always in a quirl.
Just look at her ugly hair.

When I look in the mirror all I see are flaws.
She whispers to herself, "I'm jelous of every girl out there."
To make herself feel better she draws.
I look so ugly it's not fair.

When I look in the mirror I wipe away my tears.
She'll never be good enough for anyone.
She always trys to calm her fears.
I want to fall in love, but I freak out and run.

When I look in the mirror I see things in a different light.
God loves me.
God is helping me win this daily fight.
I can now be happy with how God made me to be.

You should listen to "Mirror" by Barlowgirl. It reminds me of this. =)

thanks guys. i've heard the mirror song from barlow girl. i like it a lot. i haven't heard beauty from the pain yet though. i should go listen to it. i think i will.

Jerk

don't make promises that you can't keep.
cause i'm so tired of believing in you.
you know that i am sooo weak.
so why can't i get it in my head that we are through.

i try to erase the memory of you
but somehow you keep coming back.
i'm love with all that you do.
my life is so off track.

you promised that you would never hurt me
but look where i am today.
these tears you will never see.
but in time i'll be ok.


you are just like every other boy
a true and happy jerk.
you treated me just like a toy.
and you left me with a smirk.

it's ok i forgive you for everything.
but i will never ever trust you aqain.
from me you cannot get anything.
i'm not sure if i can even be your friend.

i tried to give you a chance.
but you keep letting me down.
you never even gave me a second glance.
in my tears you just let me drown.

thanks.. it was actually someone i never would have expected,but hey, people will let you down in life right. course some people are cursed..lol.. and they only meet jerks..j/k.. i'm sure there are people (guys) who are not jerks. i just have yet to meet one..lol..

There are a few of us. lol
But sometimes it feels like no matter how nice you are everything still blows up in your face.

let me tell you,
I understand completely what has happened to you.. i really do..

But,
It will get better even though it seems sometimes as if it is the point of no return .. it does get better

I believe you, but i'm still waiting.

Love Letter

Breath, take deep breaths, things will get better.
I try to erase him, but then i find an old love letter.
I open it up and read it.
His face is so hard to forget.
In that letter I could see how much he loved me back then.
Even when I treated him wrong, he still wanted to be my friend.
Things have changed soo much now.
I'm trying to move on, but i just don't know how.
It seems to me that he already has.
He even acts like we've had no past.
Sometimes I can forget him and find a reason to smile.
other times i hold on to him like a foolish child.
Everything reminds me of him.
When I think of him my day turns out to be grim.
So look to the sun I will try.
but I can't promises anyone that I'll never cry.
