Edward's arrival in Forks.

Devin sprinted through the trees, and smelled an incoming stream. The trees decreased, and the ground started to turn to rocks. He quickly built power, and launched himself over the river. As he landed, he could scent animals nearby. Elk, deer, a mountain lion not too far away, and something, something VILE. Werewolves. They couldn't be more than 10 miles a way from here. His liquid gold eyes shifted in the direction, and his eyes caught the sight of a house. It was roughly 2 miles a way, and there was another scent coming from it. Vampires. "Vegetarians" Like him. He would have to pass by them.

He changed direction, and began running again. In what seemed like no time, he was in a clearing. A thunderstorm was brewing in the sky, but the cold didn't bother him any. He would have to find someplace soon, he didn't want to be caught by either side, especially so far away from humans, he couldn't even scent any.

Jacob Ran through the forest With Lightning speed. He Loved being a werewolfe.
He quickly stoped, snifed the air, and rinkeled his noes. He caught the sent of a Blood sucker headed his way.
He ready himself to attack.

Devin stops. Something up ahead, no animal, no human. Werewolf, it seems. He could hear the distant roar of cars on a freeway and a gentle growling. The dog was up straight up ahead. So Nickolaus hadn't been lying at all; this was the place.

Edward changes his running path slightly, to face the freeway. Then he starts running again, he should pass the dog three miles to the south and not get caught.

Jacob Stood there, snifing the air Wondering where the vampire was going, and if there were any more with him.
If there were that would make things a lot harder since he had no pack.
He soon caught the awful oder. So, It seemed this one was hunting humans, Better take the short cut down wind so i can cut him off. he thought
A short time later Jacob could see the blood sucker in the clear. He slowed to a stalking walke, and hoped to sneak up on him, But soon found that imposible As The vampire whiped his head around to face Jacob.
This was it, time to fight. Jacob Lunged at him Teath and claws Out.

"Kuso, no kidding." [i]Devin quickly runs under the body of the Werewolf, and kicks up on his ribs. He hears a loud CRACK, and with satisfaction, he runs while he still can, heading back towards the freeway. He stops at the end of the clearing and shouts back. "I'm not HUNTING them, mutt." He grins as he listens to the boy's thoughts, and then runs again.

Jacob howeled in Pain. "Stupid vamp. Good thing i heal fast"
With in seconts Jacob was up, and close behind him. yet again. It couldn'ty posible be true A vampire who doesn't hunt humans?
I'm posible He's just trying to distract me, he thought to himself.
He then heared booming laughter.
Jacob Growled and pushed himself faster.

Alisia enters the forest, in the mood to run. The trees form a maze for her, and on she darts, making each sharp turn with perfect agility. She stops suddenly and listens. In the distance she hears a yelp followed by laughter. She is about to retreat for the fear of someone finding her, but she stops suddenly when she catches their scent in the wind.
These are not humans and they are not animals. One scent... It burns, and the other is similar to hers.
Now curious, she runs toward the scent similar to her own in silence, trying to find out what it could be.

Jacob contenuse to chace the Blood sucker When The scent of another vampire burns his nose.
He turns and chaces after the new scent.
He slowed when he came up Behind it. Jacob Groweled , and showed his Razor sharp teeth at her. He wouldn't let this one Out smart him.

Alisia hears him approaching and freezes midstride. She turns around quickly and is face to face with a huge monster with bared fangs.
"This should be easy," she thought.
Although she had never smelled anything so vile before, she had faced beasts this size before.
She crouched to attack, then sprang at the creature.

Jacob Saw The vampire Jump at him. He doged this time, and Snaped at her just bairly miussing her.
This seemed to go on for a while until I gian bolder landed on top of him. He strugeled for about tenn minutes befor getting free.
he Jumped at her again.

Alisia is frozen in shock at the strength and speed of this creature, unlike any other she has met before. She tries to dodge the attack, but is a fraction too late. She lands under the weight of his massive body, clawing and biting at him furiously.

Jacob howled as the vampire clawed into his skin. He tried to defend himself, but was blinded by dirt and dust, and then Slamed into a tree the trunk snap clear in half.
Jacob roled out of the way just before the tree could fall on him.
"This vampire is stronger then" I thought This could be the end of me". Jacob barked. The vampiure Smiled showing her glisoning fangs as if she understood him. .

"That's odd." Alisia thought as she stood quickly, ready to attack again. "Did that... wolf just speak?"
She acted as if it were normal. "You attacked me, remember?" She spat at it.
She was glad to see the creature had weakened. This, at least, gave her reason to smile.

Jacob looked at the vampire as she spoke. "Can she understand me" he thought.
He barked again thinking I only attacked you because Your kind are all evil You hurt humans, And it is my job to protect them."
He waited for a response He felt the fire inside him grow dim and wondered if He could keep his wolf form up much longer.
"If I fase back now I'm dead." He thought.

"Humans?" She stayed in a defensive crouch but spoke with a little less hostility to the beast. "I've never killed a human before. I never go near them. Why did you attack me, if I'm considered the evil one?"
A confused thought came to her just then. "What are you, anyway?"

Jacob Barked a laugh.
"If You never hurt a human then how do you Quinch your thirst?" He barked.
"Can you understand me Leach?!" Jacob Groweled.
He then barked again not waiting for a reply.
"I atacked you, because your a vampire, and It's my Job to protect the humans from you, and you know very well what I am"

"And you're not very good at it, dog." Devin stopped in stride by the female vampire, and glared at the werewolf with his topaz eyes. He could scent only two things now. The overwhelming stench of the wolf, and the vampire behind him, reminding him slightly of a flowerpatch.

"Neither of us hunt them, mutt, but you accusations are fine just as well."

Jacob Glaired at the two vampires.
Can he under stand me too? He thought.
Since when did vamps speak wolfe?
Jacob barked, "If you don't Hunt humans what do you hunt?"
Jacob finally healed compleat and stood up ready to fight again if need be.

"Don't know. Anything. But today it looks like it's going to be dog But I was a human once, I'm not going to kill what I once was." Edward mutters maliciously. He wasn't the only one prepped to fight, but nobody but this wolf was getting hurt today. "Also, I can hear you just fine, I'm not normal as far as us Vampires go. So I strongly suggest you MOVE AWAY, and don't follow either of us."

Jacob Growled. Do you honestly think I'm scared of you Blood sucker?* Jacob thought.
"How can you hear me anyway?" Jacob barked.
"If you will prove to me you mean the poeple here no harm I won't fight."
Jacob crouched ready to defend himself if need be.

"Fine. Tell me, do I scent like other vampires? Or do I smell more like animal to you?" Devin's eyes pierce into the wolf's; Jacob's it seemed. Maybe a fight was inevitable.

Jacob walked over to the vampire, and snifed him. The smell burned his nose badly, but he did smell some what different.
"You do smell kinda like animal, but how can you hear me?" He thlought.

"I don't know. I was born with it." He puts heavy emphasis on born. "I feed on animals, deer, mountain lions, bears, WOLVES." He added threateningly.

Jacob just stood there not even flinching.
I have to admit having a pack would be handy right now. He thought.
If your story is true leach then I see no reason We can't live in peace with eachother Do you?
Jacob looked in the Vampire's eyes, and waited for a reply, After he didn't get one, He thought what are your names? meaning both of you.

"Edward, but I guess it doesn't matter, parasite, leech, bloodsucker, those are our names to you right?" Devin waited for an answer for the woman beside him.
